KC trip postponed :(

Fellow ECCIE members,

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce I am not making my trip to KC next week, after all. My dad's health is declining rapidly and I feel it's imperative that I stay in the Wichita area at this time. Hospice has already been called in, so I know I don't have much more time with him. I would never forgive myself if I wasn't here when he passes on.

I am truly sorry to those I had already made a date with. You are true gents, so I know you'll understand.

I'm so sorry to hear that, I devoutly hope everything turns out ok. I was just thinking about the last time I saw you earlier today and hoped all was good, I'm very sorry to hear that it's not. The best of wishes to you and your father.

Staci, sorry to hear about your Dad, take the time to be with him and leave nothing unsaid. May god comfort and strenghten you at this time.

Best wishes with you. I went through the same kind of thing with both my parents and its really important to be there. God be with you and watch over all of you.
