TinEye versus Google Image Search

I know that we have discussed using these tools but of late, I have found that TinEye just does not find much - while google image search works very well.

Any other observations?

I've not found either to be very good but together they give you some confidence.

My results are much the same as yours, but I don't use either very often.

TinEye seems to be a bit more erratic, Google seems to be fairly consistent. That is, if Google finds images, TinEye might not, but not so much vice-versa.

As JB noted, both should be employed for the widest results.
