Ladies, what's the nicest thing someone has brought you on a date that put a smile on your face? Something unexpected, unusual?
Gents, what's the best reaction you got from bringing a gift?
All, do you think gifts are just kissing ass? A nice gesture? Unnecessary cuz this is a business?
I used to think gifts were nice, but I later realized they usually were returned for the cash. Now if I want to give a "gift" it's given in cash. Generally, gifts are reserved for special ladies who consistently go the extra distance or make the extra effort. Never forget - when you contact a lady and set an appointment you have already gifted her - we have a lot of wonderful providers to choose from - and she should appreciate your business. IJS
I've given chocolates, money, & p411 points as gifts. Strangely enough....I got the best reaction from the chocolates.
I've also had a provider give me a handpicked 6pak of microbrews from her home town.
A gesture I appreciated very much.
I've had clients give me books, been given lots of wine, Dr. Pepper in an old fashioned bottle (loved it), emerald jewelry, CD's, heels and lingerie.
I love receiving gifts because it means that they like me enough to show they care and I would never dream of returning a gift, that's just rude and tacky. I would exchange it though if it didn't fit or was the wrong color.
I've also given small gifts such as candy, beer or wine to certain clients. Those the type of gifts that they can take home without any questions from their SO.
I will say this much.......the gifts that have brought huge smiles to my face are the gifts that weren't for me, but for my dogs and cats.
Unusual that gave me a big smile was a bottle of Jimi Hendrix vodka.....thought it was very cool. The bottle was so pretty I almost didn't want to open it.....pretty good too.
If new and unused (of course lol) and it came from the heart i'm happy.
I mean we're women first/above all .... women love gifts (HELLO!) lol. I don't see how being a gentleman is kissing ass.

Took a lady a Valentin's card and she was appreciative. Said it was the only one she received. Wasn't love mushy, but really fit the occasion well.
The best gift I have ever received was a plant. Not much into flowers, they die. Plants I can water, talk to, and watch grow and every time I see it I can remember the special person that gave it to me.
WTF! I aint ever got nuttin.
Except for a marvelous time, and I thank all of you wonderful providers in the area for that. I have also brought my 'dates' favorite drink along with me. I also took a lady some chocolate one time. I had one chocolate bar and one chocolate bar with almonds. I took the plain chocolate bar just in case she was alergic to nuts. Her response 'Gosh Bairstan, you should know all girls like nuts'.
I have given several special someones a day at the spa. Always seems to be greatly appreciated.

Guess I could've answered my own question.... A certain friend enjoys a brand of rum I always bring that we share. If I know they like wine, I inquire as to their preferred style and bring something nice or new to share. Once saw a girl out of town and knew what type of dog she had and brought a few breed-specific toys/treats that were very much appreciated. She's a reputable friend there and we had a longer appt. She actually brought my favorite beverage, some champagne and assorted snacks for me to stock my hotel fridge. Very classy and thoughtful and certainly unexpected.
As a relative newbe I have brought wine and flowers neither seemed to be appreciated. I was surprised to find one very sweet lady only received one Valentine. It was from me and I was touched, she deserved more.
