Unbelievable!
While I think that this debate is a good one, my point is that the domestic trafficking exists because we have criminalized this practice. If we decriminalize it then we would not have trafficking. The issue before is that I strongly believe that the moral climate has changed dramatically. I suspect that most people would favor the legalization of prostitution and in my opinion, rightfully so.Even where it is legal there is trafficking and pimps.
What our legal system needs is to create a boogey man. And that is trafficking. I am not arguing that trafficking does not exist. I believe that trafficking is wrong. So my point, do away with it but legalizing prostitution. Originally Posted by strawberrycar934

Yeah Nash as long as the Christian moral stigma is around it will be a while before supply outstripped demand. If it was legal tomorrow, just think how busy the existing ladies would become. In the short term their rates would skyrocket because demand would outstrip demand. Whenever legalized prostitution is mentioned, I always think of Germany. For $40 bucks (before euro, now $70), I was fucking the hottest, performance orientated female doctors, lawyers and business owners for 30 minutes who were making money on the side. Besides, if it was legal tomorrow, I'd start to build the fanciest brothel in the world to put Omaha on the map. Would run it FKK style, where everyone pays entrance fee and the girls keep 100% for selling their wares. Pimping is illegal, like it should be. Competition is good for the consumer.
