Anyone remember the Water Palace?

I guess it's been closed for about 10 years now. I no longer live in Des Moines but it was a fun place to go back then. I came back for a visit shortly after moving and was disappointed to see that it was closed.

The last place we had was the Phoenix. It died after it moved to make way for the sculpture garden.

That was my first foray into the hobby here in Des Moines. Thought it was clean and great that you could see pics of the girls first. Granted, some were hit and miss in terms of menu offered. Personally, I like the Internet with sites like eccie where you can both view pics, prices, and menus.
