Nearly 500 Classic Chevys Found in Nebraska

The collection includes a 1958 Chevy Pickup with 1.3 miles, a ’64 Impala with 4 miles, and a ’78 Corvette Indy Pace Car Edition with only 4 miles on the odometer. As the years went on the collection grew out of the confines of parking lots and warehouses where they were previously stored. These cars are being auctioned off now that the land they were stored on is being developed.

Actually, the couple is getting old and they feel its time to sell... Saying they are going to "develop the land" is NOT like it sounds in thge big city! Not at all... There is no huge develpment going in, there is nothing to develop in this small Nebraska town...

The downside is nothing was stored in very good conditions, even the "NEW" stuff. The older "used" cars were just sitting in a field and many are rusting away. Still, it will be interesting as heck!!

Try this take on the story.. good photo's too!!

The cars were being systematically vandalized and stripped of parts. The ones that were out in the field at least. They felt it was time to get what they could.
They are going to be worth something. Just not big time money since a lot of them looked like they had faded paint and the motors never turned in all those years. But if you got the money to restore it right would be a nice deal. I want the 58 chevy pickup. But I can dream.
