Contemplating 1st Hattiesburg Visit

Hi guys.
I've never visited before and am wondering if there's any interest.
It would be this upcoming Thursday & Friday.
Also any tips on hobby friendly areas would be appreciated as well.

I wish you the best in H'burg. There are two exits off the interstate that have nice motels -- at the highway 49 exit and the Hardy Street exit.
