It it a scam?

I usually do not see back page girls. However every now and then one shows up that looks promising. Yesterday one like this showed up. Just to check a bit on her I googled her name and #. It showed where she had several ads in different cities. I figured she might be legit. I called but did not get a reply. I waited a while and called back. No answer, So I went back to the ad to double check her phone # and her ad was gone. I googled her again and all the ads she had every where were gone??

Was this maybe leo trying to get hobbiest phone numbers? Did she possibly get into trouble here and erased all her ads? or??

Her name was Belle and her # was 224 542 0497 pretty redhead pensacola

First off, welcome to the board. Nice of you to make your first post 3 months after joining and even this post seems a bit off base. Usually, new members "introduce" themselves in their local forum instead of making their first post a warning of possible LE activity on the National Board. Yes, sarcasm is dripping here, and I'm usually the one known for giving the benefit of the doubt-- LOL Okay, enough of me razzing you; although I do recommend that you go to the Florida Panhandle forum and introduce yourself to the guys and gals. Also, this type of post should be posted in the local forum and not on the national board. BTW, I'm one of the "official" Panhandle "Greeters", so I am sincere when I say welcome aboard

Now, as to your post. I googled the phone number you provided and let's just say my response came straight from the 1980s. The pics that I found came straight from the Big Hair days probably circa 1985. Pics look old. Even LE doesn't use pics that outdated unless they are looking to bag some geezer pushing 65. Honestly, I don't know what to make of your situation other than it was Backpage after all.

Wow, if you want to play on this series of tubes, helps to have a thick skin. I mean, yah, Cpalmson's response was snarky, but not mean.
