Pros and Cons of Providers Posting Their Phone Numbers

I remember my "idol" Infamous BJ used to post her phone number. I believe she did a lot of business this way because I don't think she got online very often.

I was wondering what you all thought were the Pros and Cons of posting your phone number.

It's something I have been considering. I have never done it before.

Any thoughts, ladies? Gents?
As long as it's a hobby phone and you can change the number as needed, I see no problem. Just keep the damn thing turned off during a session.

I've got to think it would be more trouble than it's worth, mostly from the standpoint of people wanting to call just to chat etc. Seems that it would be more practical to check PM's & e-mails regularly.

+1 way more trouble than worth in my opinion. There is nothing that gets to me more than helping my 9 year old with homework, then getting a text saying how bad one would like to shove it down my throat, along with a picture. Oh.. or being sound asleep and recieving a call at 3 or 4 in the morning! Gentleman.. please be gentleman and never do this..lol.

I guess it comes with the territory..
