I know many people like to be able to go back and look at an old web site that no longer exists, or even a current one that has been updated, and what you are looking for is gone. Google only keeps things stored (cached) for so long and is not very reliable for detailed searches.

I suggest those of you who are interested try this.

http://web.archive.org/collections/web.html

All you have to do is type in the URL for the website you wish to look at. (ie: http://aspd.net)

Here is a direct link so you don't have to type: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://aspd.net

It is a useful tool for both ladies and gents that can help when researching things.

Apparently in ASPD's case the info stops on Sept 29, 2005

yeah, I noticed that

But still a useful tool nonetheless for other sites as well.

I am curious why it stopped there. I will have to research this.
That would probably be right before the crash/hack of 2005 that wiped out everything and a lot of people had to reregister. After that happened the site never ran the same again. Maybe that has something to do with the cache for google. Or they could have opted out of having google crawl the site to save bandwith. Just brainstorming I am not an IT person. Thanks for the link!
Actually this link is priceless if you are jonesing for an ASPD fix! Too bad it goes back to 2002 and 2003, but it still shows how things have and have not changed in the scene.
