I still think if you pay $150 to a BP ad you won't get busted.

Yeah right.

The same is saying if I am paid $1000 per hour I will not get busted because it is a client willing to pay higher amounts. It just ain't so.

I think they did it because it was easier to catch the "lower end". Since the D.A. appears to do it for her own publicity, she probably would prefer to get the "high end", except that it would take more effort because they are likely to be more careful to avoid stings. If you only have $50, you deserve stank, a shitty room, a Latin bbw, a non-glam, non-looker, non-gfe experience. But you don't deserve to be more likely to be arrested.

Under that logic, those who drink fine wines, exotic, expensive beers and high end liquor can drive drunk, only those of us that drink common beer get DWis.

By going exclusively after the lower end, Nassau County has identified itself as an entity that is allowing those with money to be above the law.

Anyone who thinks that hobbyists who pay $1000 don't get caught should talk to Eliot Spitzer. Even though he was not charged, his exposure was his punishment.

Very interesting insight!

Perhaps it was their trial run and they wanted to be sure men could afford the women.

Maybe the next sweep will be at the $150 rate. Perhaps not. Originally Posted by SweetElizabeth

Another board that I frequent has a large number of Long Island members. There is a thread running over there and one of the members posting is one of the poor dudes that got busted. Not sure if I can post the content from the other board here, but if you are a member of utopiaguide, you have to read that thread. Scared the Shit outa me.

Shame on Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice

It's good to see someone voicing a reasonable rebuttal except for maybe the part about Nevada's prostition laws. The only difference between Nevada and New York is that Nevada has actual pimps that are in bed with the politicians. The Indy providers in Las Vegas are harassed just like here. The pimps here are purely mythical concoctions of man hating politicians like this DA bitch Rice.

As someone who recently fell victim of an independant SP's theft, I surely do not feel providers "are often vulnerable victims of traffickers and pimps." I'm a John, in this case a victim, and I sure wish I had recourse.

Nice article, Jack, I'm glad to hear someone is thinking.

It's BS that mugshots of johns are posted before being convicted of anything
