Cold Calls

I have received some unrequested cold calls, some were ignored, others I responded to especially if she heard something from a friend about something that I am able to do, other than bring cash in an envelope.

Guys talk about the girls and its nice to know girls can talk nice about the guys.

And yes I am one of the gents on the board that will throw a hint out there to see if the person is 'on game' enough to catch the hint. Thank you Bailey.

If a lady does send a cold call then I also take it that she has already checked my refs and that I am ok.

If she is someone whose personality interests me, I respond back rather quickly. If she then asks for refs, then I cancel as she has wasted my time.

First, Congratulations on the weight loss... I tried to go back and edit after I wrote it SL... But it was too late.. Oh well, Perhaps it will save some of the lovable big guys that do their research some heartache that tends to come along with rejection... Thanks for your kind works... Like I mentioned... Though I wish I really was Tom Slick (and not deceased, lol) and worth $Ms, I'm not. My eccie profile is not linked to any RW info, I hope, that I know of. I use the "ignore" feature often and freely, when I don't want to know what a particular person has to say. I could not read all the posts in this thread for that matter, which is quite alright. I hardly ever get unsolicited PMs and when I do, take a certain amount of entertainment value from them, just like everything else on this board. I delete all PMs as soon as I read them.

I have a hobby phone. I never call or txt RW numbers with it and don't even know the name I registered it under. I don't mind unsolicited texts because when I'm not hobbying with it, it is turned off, password protected and hidden. When I PM and give out my hobby number, I also say text/call anytime because the phone's use is carefully controlled.

I guess because I live and play in separate words, don't have issues in playland.
Buts that just me and WTF do I know.

What am I doing wrong? Someone please stalk me! Lol

I will say that from a lady's stand point (even though I already stated how I handle things) gentleman you may want to do as we are asked to do and lay out the rules when you first make contact. I know I for one would not take offense to it. Some may but, those are probably the ones you won't want to date. I would let the lady know...hey I have a hobby call/text anytime....hey only PM for me....hey I use my RL phone (bad idea though).....etc.

Although this thread seems to lean more towards the begging for money type contact.

I love when people go online to post about lack of privacy online. You've posted 192 comments & 8 reviews on a public message board but NOW has a problem with online privacy because a provider PRIVATELY messaged you?

Off topic.. but please do not ever slamdango me.. that goes for anyone. That does NOT sound fun at all. In fact, if you do it, I cannot control my hand to your face action that may occur afterwards.

Back on topic.. I've had guys tell me that it's okay for me to text or call anytime but I honestly cannot keep track of that. So rather than get someone potentially in trouble with their SO, I just do not do it. If you call and leave a message, I most likely will not listen to it either. I apologize for that, but I really get a LOT of voicemails and cannot go through them all. If you call and I don't respond, please follow up with a text letting me know what's up and if it's okay to text you or call back. A PM would not bother me. I have several ladies that I have seen that will contact me out of the blue to check in or ask when we are going to get together again. As someone in sales I do this all day long so I guess that is why it doesn't bother me. I have also had a few ladies send a message based on mutual posting in a thread. So it has never been completely random.

So I say ladies, PM if you want. I am open to offers. I just wish I had SL's hobby budget so I could get to more of you. But a well crafted PM with perhaps an offer of a discount may get on my radar or even to the front of the line.
