Seriously, it's rather uncommon for anyone to make that type of money, but not impossible.

I had a friend with an IRS problem a few years back. She was "dancing" at the most profitable club in town and they issued her a 1099 for her credit card tips. It was for over $600k. Of course, the time April 15th rolled around, she didn't have even near the $ to pay her tax bill. It was a real mess...

Plus how would she prove how much was tipped out to dj, managers, club fees, etc.?

FWIW (which is very little given the paths this thread has taken) I apologize if I claimed to understand the business - I was curious and thought I'd ask. I am also curious about Starbucks business model, as well as almost every industries business model. I'm an entrepreneur and small business owner - it's kinda in my nature now. I apologize for all the offense taken at my question.

While us guys might not privy to how the money comes in we do have eyes and I can tell you some ladies have piss-poor money managing skills. Champagne tastes doesn't go well on these beer budgets.

When their incall is better furnished then my home. When they drive upper-class vehicles with wheels worth more then the vehicle I drive. Each time they show up with a new MK/Gucci/high-$ purse that they just HAD to have (And let's not even get into the shoe addiction some women have). When they've traveled to more exotic locations in the past 6 months then I have in 6 years. It's just kinda hard to have sympathy for lack of cash-flow KWIM?

The ladies that show up in sensible vehicles, in cute, sexy little outfits they got on clearance from a discount store and know how to live on a realistic budget are the same ones that never ask for handouts, pre-payments or bust my nutz for not seeing them enough. And that's why I go back to them (and because they drain me of all bodily fluids but that's another story )
