El Rafa's has my favorite food, and ladies in a Mexican restaurant (if that is even a category) in San Antonio, so it's a no-brainer. You can't go wrong with the Don Rafas plate for $7.25, and some pretty cute ladies to boot.
On Wurzbach bout two blocks from I-10

awesome migas and their chips are good

p.s. And the ladies wear some tight ass jeans and shirts... Originally Posted by Klittylicker

Food alone worth the return. Will be back when I am in the area.

I was going to pull an engine off or Roosevelt road with the help of a fellow hobbyist.
Unfortunately the vehicle was scrapped. So, with the extra time, we went for breakfast at a Mex place just inside loop 410 across from the Shell station with the Micky Dees in it.

Hot waitresses and good food. Nice surprise. Originally Posted by Precious_b

Freddy's on s Flores and alamo.
There's a place (Las Pinchanchas) (whatever that means) at the intersection of Fred Road and N. Colorado just outside of downtown. Used to frequent many times a week - until I started gaining too much weight. Food isn;t to write home about but they have a different $3.99 b-fast special Mon - Fri and a different $4.99 lunch special Mon - Thurs. Not bad. Waitresses are usually the mexican-soap opera type with big EVERYTHING. Not a beauty pageant per se but the owner (who's wife works there as well) seem to be on to something. AND with the world cup coming up I can picture them in their little soccer socks, soccer pants and soccer tops now. Shit, you made me hungry. They are open everyday but since they start at 6a.m. they close at 3pm I believe.
Great thread. Taking notes and waiting to gain 10 pounds.

Bobster,
You might try Taqieria Aguas Caliente (spelling on entire name) right next to Hills n Dales on 1604 access road near Babcock. Been there a few times; breakfast and lunch plates are well put together just like the sweet Latina waitstaff. Originally Posted by HUMP!

Several pretty latinas worth going for. My waitress had a nice rack and super tight shirt. But, apparently, the only bitchy one working there. The other ladies all smiling and accommodating. Mine had a perpetual scowl. Food great, prices a little higher than others, and majority of ladies worth the trip. So I never thought I would say this about a taqueria, but YMMV.

Henrys Puffy Tacos. I think its on Bandera and 410?
UPDATE: Hit Pinchanchas for lunch just now. Turnover in wait staff - although I know they only work a few days a week - but there is one holdover from back in the day. Cutest ass ever. Was hoping we sat in her section but didn't and I can't recall her name from the last time we did.
