question for providers why not post recent & actual pics?

Maybe I'm naive.
and I'm certainly NOT trying to insult any providers who use their real pics,
But I'm looking for good answers from providers to this one question:
Why don't providers post recent and actual pics (especially ads from backpage, etc)?
I guess, from my opinion, if you have to bait and switch by using fake pics, what does that say about your self esteem and more importantly, your appearance?

The right caliber of provider will have real and recent photos.

And most of those providers stay off BP.

There are so many fake pics, old pics, and fake descriptions on BP. Some continue to use them over and over. Why? Because they are not called out on reviews. Some guys are too forgiving after blowing their load.They say the pics may be her or they look like her. So other guys without access to ROS go see them, get a little pissed, forgive her, leave happy, and write a yes review. It goes on and on. Just listen to your gut, if it looks TGTBT on BP, it usually is. If it looks ghetto on BP, it is. Stay away.

You make a good point-- I would be embarrassed if someone left because I was not who they were expecting.

That being said, you can alleviate a good portion of your disappointment by being a better picker. There are lots of tools on this board to educate you in making a selection good for you. You can start with simple Google searches of providers names and phone numbers, search the pics to see if anyone else uses them, read reviews, only see well reviewed ladies, etc. Until you really know what you are doing in your research, it may be a better idea to stay off of BP, and stick with ECCIE verified ladies, or join P411. These are not fool proof, but your rate of return may be a lot better. Many well reviewed ladies advertise on BP as well as other venues. However lots of unsavories do as well.

I will say that I saw a provider off eccie (also advertising on BP) a while ago who had pretty good pics and a lot of "yes's" in reviews but when I saw her, she had no make up on and really didn't do much to make herself look presentable.

Who wants to meet a provider who doesn't care enough about meeting a hobbyist to look presentable?
the sex was good, but I felt like I could have picked up the same in a back alley.

So it wasn't as enjoyable of an experience as it should have been.

People talk smack about BP all the time. BP is just another avenue for ladies to advertise on. Problems occur on every hooker site. I've seen high end gals on there because sometimes BP is the only place to advertise in certain cities. I've seen low end gals on there too, but I've also seen them on this site too.

Doesn't matter what site you go to, pics are pics and some are honest, some scam you.

IA, don't know who the lady was.....but, hopefully you wrote a review telling people that. I'd never allow that to happen.

There could only be two reasons I could think of for a provider not to use her real pics. Only once have I met a provider who was very beautiful (could have drummed up lots of business with real pics) who chose pics very close to her look so that she could not be identified. She worked in her home town and had ink, so a blurred face would not do the job.

I assume those instances are a very small percentage of the providers using fake pics. You know the answer to your question. $ They know they won't get enough business with their real pics. They also know that very few guys who show up will leave when they learn they used fake pics. They rely on you not wanting to go to the hassle of finding another provider when she is standing right there and that you are horny and will just power through to get off. Those providers are usually not on sites like this.

So many post like yours that deal with the hassles, rip offs, NCNS, and the like can be avoided by only visiting verified providers, getting a regular(s) you like and staying with them. Fake pics will never stop because they earn the provider more money.

As far as WKs or members who don't give reviews the way you would want, I have heard (PMs) horror stories about guys who have given providers a negative review. Even though they have hobby phones, use "the rest of the story", only talk about it in "member" forum, andfollow all the rules, they got really hassled. None of us are in the hobby to endure BS. Giving bad reviews, saying a provider is ugly, fat, or older than her pics can cause BS. I don't blame anyone for trying to avoid those hassles.

You obviously had a bad experience. I vent here too sometimes, but I don't expect it to change anything.

So if your chicken isn't the chicken you ordered, don't get the chicken.

Fake pictures, upselling is just a part of the hobby let's face it. I use to live at Wichita now at KC. What few encounters I have experienced and I try to be selective 50% have had accurate photo's with no upselling, etc. at both locations.

There was a recent thread that I cannot find about a provider whom had her significant other drive her to dates. One of the encounters I experienced with a nice looking lady she had a pic on her cell phone screen of her and guy, she would look at it ever now and then, and finally when she reached a point she dropped the phone on the floor, then looked at it again afterwards. Sad that she had to be the household provider. Other's have significant other's who know and seem to be OK with their lady being a provider just as long they come home at night with means to support. Funny how this business works for some. To me a man who makes his woman do such is not much of a man in my view.

Really finding a care free provider that is self supportive with no other's is a rare event yet I was fortunate to meet a couple of nice providers whom were free of such.

Really this is a crappy business if you do not do your homework, pay to join a site like 411 but some on 411 are just a notch or = to BP.

my pics are all withen a year except for one or two that are almost two years old

I actually read an ad on here today where the lady admitted to using false pics to protect her identity......if you are that scared then either dont post face pics or dont be on here!

I never understood the need to fudge on age or weight...except maybe by a year or two and five pounds or less.......In the end,you will be found out anyways!

Dallas...I never understood that either. Why lie about what you look like or other physical appearance aspects? When you meet someone they will figure out that you lied. Just seems so silly to me.
