I'll say this, you can second guess this officer all you want. But Iam willing to bet any officer in that situation would have probably done the same thing. That kid was pretty big and climbed into the vehicle with that officer punching him. That officer had very little room in that vehicle to retreat or fend him off. Brown had the advantage and Iam sure the officer felt there was very little else he could do. So he fired a shot within the vehicle.

I'll say this, you can second guess this officer all you want. But Iam willing to bet any officer in that situation would have probably done the same thing. That kid was pretty big and climbed into the vehicle with that officer punching him. That officer had very little room in that vehicle to retreat or fend him off. Brown had the advantage and Iam sure the officer felt there was very little else he could do. So he fired a shot within the vehicle.

Nobody has picked a hero....all I have done is point out two things.

One, when 2/3 of the community is Jewish and 97% of the police force is Muslim, even you could see how that might be a problem.

Two, if he shot him in the back while the kid was running away or after he put his hands up, there might be a problem for the officer.
