No one is fear mongering. The guy asked a simple, inoffensive question regarding hobby habits. There have been a few surprises so its not fear mongering to simply discuss it. Parents especially are concerned over the entero-68 and flu this year as well as the possibility of Ebola not being as contained as it seems. Perhaps you can't relate, but that doesn't mean you should publicly admonish those who do want to discuss it.
You stick up for guys looking for girls who appear to be prepubescent (because its their "preference") but you bash members who want to discuss their health concerns by calling them fear mongers. I thought it was against by he rules to bash others over their preference.

Nobody knows for absolute certain that ebola cant be transmitted through the air. They just don't think it can unless someone sneezes on you. They don't know how long ebola can be infectious on a surface outside the body. They just know it can. That's why CDC is trying to track down everyone on the plane with her and everyone that was on the 5 later flights that day from the same plane. If a nurse from patient zero that knew all the risks got on a plane, what do you think the chances are that everyone on the plane with her and the 5 later flights have enough sense to follow the self quarantine? Not fucking likely. I am not saying it is time to freak the fuck out. I am just saying that its going to take up to 21 days before we truly understand how bad this is. The link I posted in a previous reply is for the WHO...World Health Organization. The unfiltered guide lines for Ebola (not the cleansed version the CDC is feedingus)I never said that a fever was the first symptom. I said it was the first tell. People get headaches and muscle aches all the fucking time and don't think twice about them because they are so common. When someone develops a fever they know something out of the ordinary is going on.
Fever is ONE OF the first symptoms but not neccesarily THE first symptom. You could get the headache first then the fever or the muscle aches then the fever. A headache...how many self monitor people get one of those at the grocery store and think its just stress. And it is sexually transmitted for weeks AFTER a person has recovered so they are carriers. Checking temps at the airport is a bandaid on a gunshot wound.

I've been an infection control nurse and worked in isolation ICU's for over 8 years. And I'm not worried about Ebola. I've started asking clients if they feel well, and I can tell by touching them if they have a fever.
NO ONE should hobby if they are symptomatic of any illness. I got my flu shot and pneumonia shot last month and that's always a good idea. Most drugstores offer them. Originally Posted by GingerKatt

If so, someone may need to self-quarantine themselves for 21 days. But, I only have one asshole and multiple opinions and I really hate wasting them defending Broes, but someone overreacted and it wasn't him.
