"Reviews that are downright LIES and mean nasty comments just to be hurtful

sure got a purty shitbird flappin
We cannot defend ourselves when "reviews" are written that are untrue, exaggerated or down right NASTY!! Originally Posted by Amelia Angel

Specifically

#24 - Disputed reviews will not be removed by staff unless the request is made by the thread starter. In situations such as this, the proper protocol for addressing a review in question is to post a rebuttal to the review in that city forum's coed discussions area. Staff will be happy to do some basic investigation to confirm the validity of such reviews, however removal will only take place when requested by the thread-starter or in extreme cases where it has been proven false, there is an admission by the reviewer that the review is indeed false, or the reviewer failed to cooperate with staff's efforts to confirm validity. In cases where a reviewer is found to have posted a review of a session which did not take place, or posted blatantly false information within a review, the reviewer will be subject to disciplinary action at the discretion of staff, which could lead to loss of posting privileges. Along those same lines, if the reviewed party is found to be making false or inaccurate claims to staff in an attempt to trigger staff action against a reviewer or the removal of a review, that party will also be subject to consequences, up to or including temporary or permanent loss of account access. These measures exist to preserve the integrity of the information posted in our review forums, and will be taken when these circumstances exist.

Amelia, you have 49 out of 54 reviews with a "yes" for a recommendation. That is a 90% approval rating. This site is for the guys to talk about our experiences and help each other out. When a provider gets a negative review, we read the ROS and we can read between the lines. We also check out other reviews about a provider to make our choice to see you. I presume you check us guys out and our reviews to get an idea of how we are. Your negative reviews are spread out over a period of time, not back to back, and not a whole buunch in a row. Yes, there are off days, and yes there are some guys are assholes. You seem to have a good reputation, so don't let a bad review throw you off.

I’m pretty knowledgeable, but I’m certainly not the quickest guy in the world. That being said; a friend and I were discussing all this ECCIE stuff one night.

He made a particularly interesting comment regarding the dynamic between Jimmies and Providers. He was speaking with concern to reviewing.

He said something that never occurred to me. He wondered if some Jimmies gave negative reviews of Providers to ward of others so they could have said Providers mostly to themselves. By discouraging others, in the hope of reducing traffic, this would possibly drive the price down also since the Provider would be running on fumes.

This dubious practice, however, is contingent on Providers not looking at the Review segment of the Board, and not being able to view the ROS. But of course we all know that it’s impossible for Providers to read the ROS. Lol.

As an aside; I don’t review anymore and wish I never had in the first place. I believe Reviews are worthless, as is PA.
meh, whatever.

maybe we should address how some providers treat other providers.

I want to be the orange kitteh.
Now Amelia and MargeauxMe, I have seen both of you and gave you both positive reviews. Each of you possess different qualities that I find very attractive. I hope to see you both again very soon.
There is no need to fight with each other. Us clients need to be more respectful of the providers.
Nuff said.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but are you referring to the previous post, #22?

If so, is it possible to string a sentence or two together to explain yourself?
