If your religion prevents you from dealing with the public then you need to find another line of work.

Can one of you bible thumping ultra religious conservatives show me where in the Bible does it say to hate or discriminate against gays? Didn't Jesus surround himself with sinners? You republicans do the exact opposite of what the Bible says and think you are the better Christians - you will have your your day!

I am not against anyone I just maintain I have an individual right to not agree with their way of life. They can do as they desire but don't expect me to assist them in any way. I am not singling out gays or any other group.

I will give you a prime example- back in 2009 the Tea party was having a rally- CNN was interviewing a guy who had a stand and was selling various items- he had shirts that said Obama was a muslim- Buttons that were saying Obama was a socialist. The reporter ask the man do you really think Obama is a muslim or a socialist? The gentleman responded "NO" but this is a capitalist society so I am making money on something that people want to purchase.

A Bakery that makes a cake for a gay people by no means equates the Bakery to supporting gay marriage- just as when I dispense Birth control medication or Viagra am I supporting pre-martial sex or fornication. I think your missing the point of the law, homosexuals have rights, store owners have rights. What happens when the two come face to face. Its not necessarily about religion, its about being forced to violate your principles . The homosexual looking for a cake can purchase this cake from a number of bakery's, the baker is not preventing them from getting a cake. The baker is only saying I should not be forced by the government to do something that I find objectionable. Why does the homosexuals rights supersede the bakers right. The real issue is individual rights, you liberals are making it something more because well that's what you do, your can find that lifestyle objectionable even if your lifestyle is not above reproach, it may make you a hypocrite but you have the right to be one.

Easy for you to say when you are not the one getting discriminated against- if you believe what you just said- then let's bring back segregation and just make racism/sexism/ageism and other "ism" legal and out in the open.
