I'm going to disagree. Galleria area is a perfect location, which is why you see it used so frequently.
You have freeway access from multiple directions, high population density (for the Houston area), and that population is higher net worth. There is also a healthy transient business population (ie, folks coming to the financial center for a few days on business). As a realestate friend once said,"location, location, location".
If you don't like the traffic, don't schedule at 5pm. Ok, really don't schedule 7a-9a, noon, 4p-7p. During busy times try to use surface streets instead of the freeway... Or, show up at 4 for a three hour tour, and don't think about the poor bastards sitting in traffic hell while you are having a wonderful time.

Plenty of johns come from the suburbs and the surrounding areas. Most of the people in the galleria are old retirees, transplant shoppers, and young people with nothing else to do but walk around and drive back and forth.
A lot of touring girls go to the Galleria to do their incalls because it is the epicenter of Houston and is considered upscale. I find the place depressing and makes me want to sleep in the evenings or run my mouth like a manic irritable person in the daytime.
Traffic is always bad in the Galleria area because the place is built tight plus there is a lot of construction going on. It's a total mess.
