America: #1 globally in mass shootings

Thank you for recognizing common sense on the twitter. Each person sees the tweet time in their own time zone, hence the disparity. As for the blood, there is often less blood than one would expect at a crime scene like this. We also don't know what stage the investigation was in when you describe the scene as unfinished. This thing stinks to high heaven that's all there is to it.

Instead of calling me names, propose something else. That is how discussions work. You simply call me a name, and add some bullshit about the TSA that I never said. We could start with schools. Shouldn't our children at least be safe for shit's sake? Originally Posted by WombRaider

IMO having teachers that are properly trained should be armed. I'm not saying every teacher. If a teacher wants nothing to do with being armed then they are not the ones we want. Taking interested teachers and doing a background check and mental evaluation and then training them would be a good start. Posting "gun free zone" signs and installing metal detectors will not stop a mad man.

how many guns do YOU see in that picture. SLOBBRIN?
So you want every school, shopping mall and theater to be like going to the airport. That's perfect. We can have the TSA handle that since they do such an awesome job with their current task. Jesus fucking Christ you're an imbecile. Originally Posted by Budman

If fear is what keeps people honest, why aren't crime rates dropping?
Your mistake is assuming that fear affects criminals the same way it affects people who aren't criminals. And it doesn't.

Criminals are fearful of confrontation and therefore choose their targets accordingly. It's much easier and safer for the criminal to rob or harm someone who is unarmed and defenseless.

And again, the fear of what would happen did not stop this man from doing what he did. All it made him do was approach someone from a defenseless position. The end is the same sad result.
