Any time we make a decision based on the race of a person, that decision IS a racist decision. Here in this hobby and in other areas of life, we have the right to do just that. But for the love of all that is right, can we please just own it?

Let's not try and justify it or make excuses for it, as doing that is insulting in and of itself. We're all, for the most part, intelligent adults and coming up with all of these pseudo reasons for it is absolutely sickening.

Even the most staunch "NO AA" provider will quickly drop her policy for some rich or hot celebrity, athlete, or businessman, but because that is not the typical client the the ladies happen across, their policy doesn't affect their bottom line. Even more so, at crunch time, when money is tight, many will suspend their policy out of necessity, and none of the "factors" mentioned are part of their decision as long as the client passes screening.

Consider this, I'm sure that many of us agree when looking at domestic pets, there are no inherently "bad breeds" of canine? Only "bad owners?" But when we look at each other, we are only too quick to suggest that our race is directly related to our behavior? Crime and violence have nothing to do with geography, race, gender, or anything else we try to blanket it with. It is an individual's makeup and decision making.

Keep your stats, wrap yourself in them if they comfort you, that's your choice. But please try and remember, raw data is the only true data. All other has been manipulated for cause. Just please, please, let us own our choices and stop trying to make it seem as if we're not guilty of doing what we have done.

Why do you see ugly , nasty, rude, cheap, obese, unintelligent guys but not AA males. Also, enlighten us on how race is a good factor to screen on vs real discussion with a provider or a few factors like character.

I've only seen educated or not so educated guesses by hobbyist. I don't expect any responses so I'm letting my part die here.. as the others in thread mentioned there are a zillion threads on this with no real understanding from the people that have them.

Not anger toward them ..anger because they feel it is about them...IT IS NOT..I at that point EXPLAIN what is really going on ..in hopes to shed a little light & to encourage them to be grateful that the restriction is there.

Everyone has a different reason as to why their ads say "No AA". I've never heard the reason being that supposedly most AA gentlemen have diseases or because of incarcerations...
I've been told several reasons though
-Some girls feel like AA hobbyists have the highest tendency to haggle a provider on their rates.
-Just like some girls won't see a man who's very obese due to her preference, maybe she's not comfortable seeing an AA gentleman, after all, we do have as much say so in who we want to see like the guys do.
-A majority a men involved in this hobby who are pimps tend to be AA, & some girls are fearful of getting robbed or kidnapped, or worse...

I have no problem seeing any race or size, as long as you're respectful & can pass my screening that's all that matters. But I do know it's harder for an AA man to get his foot in the door in the hobby due to so many providers being skeptical of him & his intentions. My advice for that is to build a positive board persona, get references from reputable providers & write reviews.
