Yes, you are missing quite a bit without Premium Access...Rates have to be posted in the ROS (Rest of the Story) section, along with other fun facts, and you need PA (Premium Access) in order to read or see the ROS.

Check their weekly update ads. I'm pretty sure I have seen their rates posted somewhere that you can see it.

Also if you didn't post the message twice, it is just the BB system hanging up for a minute or ten. It does it sometimes. You can edit your posting to delete the text from one of them. Or not.
