Gentlemen, I don't buy the whole China/Fauci conspiracy thing. I just tried to find out what kind of budget Fauci's overseeing. The 2022 budget for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is 6.2 billion. Did $600,000 end up in the hands of the Wuhan virus lab over some period of years? It wouldn't surprise me. That's a tiny % of the budget that Fauci oversaw. And most likely a small % of the Wuhan lab's funding. Who are you going to blame it on? Whichever bureaucrat decided to spend the money? Fauci? The Secretary of HHS? Trump? Hell if I know. And it's a little premature to go assigning blame yet. We don't know if the virus leaked out of the lab yet, or if gain of function research was done on COVID 19 in Wuhan. Maybe it made sense to provide some funds to them to have some kind of input into their safety protocols, etc. I recall from a post here that their safety was found lacking around 2018 by some outfit like the CDC or the WHO. Chinese miners were infected with a bat virus in 2012. They were clearing bat guano from the mine. Transmission would have been directly from horseshoe bats to humans, without going through another species. In fact, this virus may have evolved into COVID 19. Three of the miners died. This paper says another virus was sampled from the mine that's 98.7% similar to COVID 19, although I haven't run across anything that would indicate the Wuhan lab was studying that one.

I'm confused.. because I had ALWAYS heard that the masks weren't to protect yourself.. they were to protect others from you. I'm not sure how so many didn't get that message months and months ago and are just now acting like they've never heard that.
