So you truly believe that anyone that doesn't care for trump has TDS?

This thread is about tariffs. Many of the posters who oppose tariffs do so solely because Trump favors them bigly. Sorta like many people (mostly Democrats) reflexively oppose tax cuts under all circumstances. Or like many Republicans who believe government regulation is always & everywhere a bad thing.
I take a dim view of anyone who "thinks" this way. They are intellectually lazy, superficial and unsophisticated.
To state the obvious using the examples above: 1) Government regulation can be good or bad, depending on the industry and the costs versus benefits. 2) Tax cuts can be good or bad, depending on the state of the economy and which specific taxes are being reduced. 3) And tariffs can be good or bad, depending on their size & scope and the amount of harm being felt by our domestic industries as a result of unfair foreign trade practices.
Bottom line - it's ok to have distaste (even visceral distaste) for Donald Trump. Just don't let it stand in the way of your critical thinking (if you have any). Try to offer constructive criticism that is balanced and dispassionate, like Tiny and Texas Contrarian usually do. And don't be afraid to admit it when trumpy gets it right. If you can't do that, then yes, you're probably afflicted with TDS.
