The AMP experience... I don't get it

Haven't been to an AMP before, so tried going to one that was recently reviewed on here. Seems like I was the first of an afternoon wave, because right as I was led into a room the front desk bell started ringing nonstop as a new monger came in every 5-7 minutes, and the girl who was servicing me had to step out each time to greet them because the place was understaffed and didn't have a front desk receptionist. It became really hard to get into the mood as we were getting constantly interrupted, and after we finished I felt like I was slightly pressured to leave since there was such a long queue, so I didn't even get much of a massage. The service itself was good and an enjoyable experience, but I don't know if I'd ever want to go back due to how busy it was. Based on the foot traffic though it seems like the rest of y'all don't mind, so I guess AMPs must be for you heathens that love seeing other mongers around and waiting in long lines to all be with the same girl

It is annoying. Can’t stand the sound of it. They all seem to have to same door chime sound. I think if there’s only one or two and they’re busy, they should just lock the door and put up a sign that says back in 30 minutes. Best advice is to find a location that has several therapists.

OP, which spa did you go to? Like KK said, go to a place with many therapists or with a Mamasan that works the door. We can give you some suggestions if needed.

The modern AMP experience is no good afternoon or weekends. Back when there were a bunch of Royal, there was enough supply for anything but Friday or Saturday evening.

Or do recon and find new spots. If it’s a place on here it most likely has a ton of reviews and foot traffic. Unless you get lucky and go at a weird time you will be competing with other mongers for those prime time spots.
