ourhome2 database error??

anyone else get the Database error when logging into ourhome2? Sometimes it just doesn't even load. What is going on with them?

I’ve been getting it. I rotate through some different vpn locations and it will come back up. But then it doesn’t. Not sure what’s going on but for the last three days on and off for me

I’ll just quote myself on the thread below this one covering the same subject.

The “database error” abates in the evening and early morning hours, and somewhat on weekends. I don’t know if the site is really this popular, but they were near a record high 15k+ users (the record is 18.8k, back in August when the site had another run of access issues and was down for a few days) earlier this week. Fewer than 600 of those users are site members, which makes you wonder about the remainder given how little of the site is accessible to nonmembers.

It’s been more difficult for me today, but I have been able to get in. From the front page stats it looks like more members (about 800) than what I typically have seen the last few weeks are able to get on.

It's probably nothing to do with your VPN, your device (PC vs phone), your browser, etc.--it looks like we get to the site and something catastrophic happens sporadically (like the database takes to long to provide that massive wall of text on the landing page because it is hosted on a jail broken first gen kindle and dies if more than 2 people try to use it at the same time).


Just keep refreshing and maybe you'll succeed eventually .


(I "probably" because when stuff is this bad, there's no telling for sure. )
