Trump's tough on drugs, but then pardons Honduras Ex-president.

Apparently Trump has pardoned or provided clemency to over 1,700 individuals in his 2nd term.

He recently granted clemency to David Gentile, a private equity player, after having served just a few days of a 7 year prison sentence.
Besides being wrong, out of context and short sighted, it is simplistic....

Now Trump has 2 inside sources to glean from in collapsing the trafficking of poisons to America....

Jesus Christ, do you even listen to the man? He explained it himself!

Explaining the pardon to reporters on Nov. 30, Trump said, “Well, I was told, I was asked by Honduras, many of the people of Honduras, they said it was a Biden setup. … The people of Honduras really thought [Hernández] was set up and it was a terrible thing.”

“He was the president of the country, and they basically said he was a drug dealer because he was the president of the country,” Trump continued. “And they said it was a Biden administration setup. And I looked at the facts and I agreed with them.”

(Factcheck.org, 12/04/25)

How in the holy hell did you miss THAT!!??

(Ima help you unnerstand...see...that mutherfuggin Autopen jumped right offa the Resolute Desk... and set this whole thing up....Triangulated its pointy little self right up Hernandez's ass...then approved some fake mortgage loan docs for James and Comey...and then...well, it's still out there, I suppose...has taken on a life of its own...maybe...it's even posting...HERE!)

So Trump, the man, the myth, the legend and President - pardons
Juan Orlando Hernández of Honduras and cozies up to Hugo “El Pollo ” Carvajal of Venezuela. Seems random and disassociated. AmIrite?

Honduras is just South of Mexico and has been trafficking to the USA for years. BTW: The Southern border with Mexico is closed, thanks in no small part from Trump closing the freak'n door/gate. At the same time, Venezuela has been shipping poisons to the US and is just a tad bit South of Honduras.

Now Trump has 2 inside sources to glean from in collapsing the trafficking of poisons to America and other "dirt" within those stinking cesspools of corruption and Socialism. Whut?!? Ya think he's gonna trust the Deep State CIA?

The obvious question: Why?
To make America safe and great again after 4 years of pResident AutoPen - that's why!

Hat tip to Merriam-Webster:I included the definition for those still struggling with toileting skills.

We can save triangulation for another day. Originally Posted by Why_Yes_I_Do

Thank you for your input even though it failed to answer the question of how he can justify releasing a guy who had a solid case built against him, tried, and was convicted and sentenced could be released while allowing the military to take over from the Coast Guards duty of maritime interdiction operations and blow the beejeebers out of supposed drug boats.

Very nice but do you or do you not agree with Trump pardoning Juan Orlando Hernandez? Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX

Also the Honduran president's family wrote a letter which seemed to influence a lot of Trump's inner circle. Originally Posted by VitaMan

The article says Juan Orlando Hernández was convicted in March 2024 for forty five years. Trump says he is going to pardon him because he was treated unfairly.

Either Trump is delusional or there is major corruption occurring. Or possibly both. It wouldn’t surprise me if Trump is being manipulated by someone in his inner circle to make things happen. Originally Posted by txdot-guy

ya, clearly Trump has zero problem with narcos killing Americans. plus the boats he's been sinking are apparently delivering goods destined for Europe, not the U.S. the logic is Trump cares about no one but himself and does whatever the fuck he wants to do. i'm sure there's a bribe out there somewhere. imagine if Obama did any of this, what Faux News would be calling for.

Like if you did something for a client, where you work, without telling him and ask to be paid for it.

I'm sure you do that all the time.

I know how you would act if it was done to you.
