AS, CP, GL shut down...but what does the future hold?

HenrySwanson's Avatar
Saw a post about a visit to AS (on another review site), their web site is still up. I replied with bullshit, they are shut down. OP insisted they are up and responding to text. I texted twice (with no response) before I realized, from ECCIE, they were shut down.

Anyone know the truth? Especially any newspaper reporting on busts? Originally Posted by TheBigBubba

Yeah, Kpop site is gone, BK only got 1 girl (she does look good) and others are shut. Yes, we are fucked. I am making reservation to Vegas and LA in spring, MX or Columbia in summer then NY in fall for my hobby. Hobby in Dallas is no more for me, not worth taking chance unless I can find these ladies as Indy. Isn’t Yummy still around somewhere? I would see her if I can contact her. Originally Posted by jkk

High chance the coppers took over the websites of the busted agencies and are now conducting sting ops with them. They've done this in the past in other states. A really good example is what happened in Seattle a few years ago, coppers infiltrated the biggest review board there and busted the review board owner, a couple of the top contributors, and 12 different agencies, and then subsequently busted anyone stupid enough to try to book visits with the busted studios:

Another important thing to note is that a lot of the initial tips for the bust came from Karen neighbors who were suspicious of all the men coming and leaving from the apts. Not sure what can be done about this but just know that Karens are a bigger risk than you think gents, so always have your secops in place and maintain discretion at all times. Jeses christ im out the game for a month and most of the agencies are busted. who survived? I think BK survived and maybe that chinese org too but are there others? is BK gone too? is Dallas dead?
Has anyone been able to find a news article about these busts? I haven't found anything which is strange considering multiple agencies were taken out. I figure that LE and politicians would be doing victory laps by now.

its a small sting... most likely just a mention if anything
its crucial news to us, but to the rest of the world it nothing.. only a few arrested and fined
move on, we will recover. it nothing like the seatle situation
maybe some stupid karens call in they have to do it

1, LE chased after the clients very hard. But girls were let go.

quote from the article:
"""
Out in the parking lot, police were secretly photographing cars that arrived and the men who got out. Over the next two months they started to match the license plates to driver’s-license photos. They also began matching the handles with the names and addresses of the inner members of The League.

And for the men who hadn’t attended a party, police got search warrants to go after their email accounts and the internet provider addresses that linked the pseudonyms to their real names.

Police closed 12 apartments and told 12 South Korean women they were free to leave. Police and translators explained that brothel owners and some frequent customers had been arrested but that the women would not be charged with a crime. They were offered help and connected to social-service agencies.
"""

2, A man who managed a review board website was sentenced to have an ankle monitor on home detention. He later killed himself.

quote:
"""
He (the guy named Zitars who managed the review board) argued that Craigslist and Backpage.com were overrun with pimps and women being forced to work the streets. “I would not allow them on the board … We had none of that on my website.”

Because he had no criminal history, Zitars was sentenced to 90 days of electronic home detention.

Four days after he was supposed to report to be fitted with the tracking device, Zitars fatally shot himself in the head.

On a separate note, some of the dudes here have been able to retrieve affidavits from past LE busts, so at some point hopefully someone here comes across the affidavit for these busts. I feel like there will be some valuable intel as far as how the busts came about, inter-workings of studios, etc. Earlier this year I read the affidavit for the Boston studio busts, and it was fascinating.

I am guessing by March new K will rise and this will pass.

Everything is indicating this is locally done without fed. Maybe that’s why not much media attention.

My guess is maybe not much media attention b/c they’re still investigating and will raid another Studio soon.

Both are equally likely at this stage, imo. Lots of small, local operations don’t get press releases. The recent conviction of the TC woman for aggravated promotion of several women who advertised on oh2 is one example of an arrest that went unnoticed and unreported at the time.

If the subject of this thread is a larger operation, you may not see a press release for several more days or weeks until they have substantially completed it.

At this point, it’s anyone’s guess how big or small it was, and if it gets the full press release treatment that a lot of large multi-jurisdictional efforts get.

hmm, I thought you stated that I am a Mexican who was banned from spas with my picture posted somewhere. Oh and I was a lawyer one time.
You and your posse can keep guessing.
Or ask Chung Tran.
