What is Alex doing in the middle of ICE detaining or arresting other individuals. He should not be there interfering. He made a mistake. The fact that he was carrying a gun made the situation even more dangerous.

That would be a prerequisite for being 'in the middle of ICE detaining or arresting'.

Is there evidence Alex interfered with the arrest/detention of the express subject of the DHS/ICE operation?
Is there clear evidence that Alex open carried a weapon?
Is there any evidence that Alex brandished a weapon in front of law enforcement officers?

Is there evidence that seems to contradict Greg Bovino's statemen and Trump/Noem statements?

Sure seems that both Bovino and Noem, upon being questioned specifically about their statements, have done quite a bit of 'backpedaling'

Reports indicate that DHS/ICE/CBP is not following 'standard procedure' and the shooting officer(s) remain on duty and have not been separated from other involved officers. Bovino/Noem in their backpedaling interviews indicate 'some form' of 'investigation' is ongoing.
