Life lesson, never EVER send a deposit. No exceptions. You have to be ok NOT seeing someone because they ask for one
facts bro. the only reason i sent it was because I did a lot of research before hand and they looked legit. he must have just stolen pics from a old providers profile and used them. they had a verified account on Leolist and acouple other websites which is why i felt safe in doing it. I'm never sending a deposit ever again. these fucking assholes shouldnt even be asking for a fucking deposit on tryst or any provider sites anyway it always feels like a goddamn scam. never again.
The broken english likely written by an indian scammer should have been a giveawy under the deposit section it states. "Deposit : Some money advance from my payment for confirm the appointment"

Even the real providers want a deposit now the shit is just fucking ridiculous. It’s to the point we’re im about to just get my passport and only see girls from agencies. Tired of this bullshit. They shouldn’t be asking for deposits it’s absolute crap and completely unjustifiable. Never sending one ever again in my life.

I'm sorry for your experience, but there are multiple red flags here and you've been around since 2021. Hopefully you learn from this

I appreciate the sentiment but let’s not be callous here. My previous comment explains why I thought it would be safe.
That's the only thing you found suspicious? What about the fact shes based in 3 cities? Did you look at her Twitter account? Did you check to see if she had any reviews? What kind of online presence does she have to prove that she's a real human being?

I googled for 3 mins and found this girl posting in Portland.

I'm not trying to rip into you, but if the deposit thing was the only red flag you saw then you still have a lot to learn.

I wish you the best of luck.

When will people learn? Some guys must be mad at their money.
Bobby,

You keep insisting it all looked "legit" when, in fact, around half a dozen red flags indicating it is not legit have been identified - including PAYING A DEPOSIT.

I'm sorry for your loss, reality is you got away with a $50 loss and, hopefully, a lesson learned - you got off easy compared to many of us who have paid far more than that to learn a lesson.

Read the ads, do your research, and NEVER EVER EVER EVER pay a deposit!

I’ve seen girls before that travel so I’m not sure where the half a dozen red flags are that you are mentioning here. Many providers travel so that is not necessarily a red flag.

The twitter account has no post but again I’ve met with providers that have a twitter that is inactive or has few post. I’m taking accountability and admitting that I was foolish. I should have stopped when the Cash App warned me that it likely a scam. I made this post to prevent others from contacting this fake “provider” that’s all.

It’s not a trap I’ve fallen into many times this has only happen one other time years ago. Her bio on tryst also does not contain broken English like the deposit section does. Not trying argue but to me it looked like it could be real so I went for it and made a mistake. Luckily yes it was only 50$ lol idk it just seemed like there was a decent chance it could be real. From now on if they ask for a deposit I will just avoid contacting them entirely.
I don’t want her, you can have her, she’s too fat for me.
