Prostitution stings in Various Areas in DFW

For those who don’t know. The Bungalow bust made news because it was residents in the neighborhood who had been watching the short term rental in their midst, and reported odd comings and goings to PPD. Another case of concerned neighbors being the primary reason a residential brothel gets taken down.

VF, can you expand on the high-end hotel rationale. When I try to understand I come back to LE can partner with ‘high-end hotels’ too. But maybe I’m missing something.

There are a few posters who give good advice about research, reviewed providers and things to be aware of. But I feel bad for the guys who get busted (like the guy on a different thread currently) who think they have a foolproof protocol just to learn that they had a false confidence after they end up in cuffs. LE has a looong leash. A felony conviction, or even a plea to nolo contendre or lesser charge stays with you.

Its the insistence on being so loud and so wrong/ill informed about the local area that is just.... something special.

I got busted through listcrawler in Fort Worth. One thing you can do to make sure they are real is to request a FaceTime call. Chances are they aren’t going to abide to it. I haven’t heard of anyone trying to FaceTime call and they actually took the FaceTime call and looked like the person. They don’t want their real faces out there. Chances are they won’t do a FaceTime call. If you are in doubt. Look for reviews, if there isn’t any or you can’t find any. Then just automatically assume it’s police. There is no fool proof way to stay 100% safe in the hobby

I use big hotels, maybe see 2-3 guys per week, screening and still have the same chance as anyone else.

I dont believe a personal website guarantees safety, if anything, it would be held as evidence against the provider.

A personal apartment doesn't mean you're safer. I used to use an apartment and most of the neighbors figured out quickly what I did. There were complaints made to the office. So you have just about as much safety as going to a Motel 6 because everyone can see what door you're going to.

Going through screening with verified providers is the safest route.

Some ladies luck into apartment situations where the neighbors don’t care, and are able to carry on their activities for long periods of time with no issue. The problem is, if you get too comfortable eventually you get new neighbors and if you are lucky they complain to management and you get kicked out. The unlucky alternative? Someone calls the police and they start surveillance of the apartment.

That is a particular concern when multiple ladies are using the pad for business. One local madam maintained an apartment for 5+ years. Eventually, someone complained and after surveillance (including interviewing clients as they left the incall) LE busted the place.

IMO, independent ladies who use apartments should be prepared to move at the end of each lease expiration to stay ahead of the cops. If the lady prefers to entertain in her own space, she should meet new clients at hotels and only invite guys to her incall once they become a regular. That cuts down on traffic, and it looks more like she is just having friends come over from time to time.

By high-end I mean the provider must check the following 4 boxes:
1) Must have a well-thought-out website
2) Must have reviews
3) Must have a teaser video
4) Must operate out of a high-end hotel
Admittedly, it greatly reduces the number of providers who qualify ... but it essentially reduces the probability of an LE busst to zero!
Like I've said: I've applied this methodology in hooking up with K-Girls (over 100x) all over NNJ ...and I've never even seen a cop car!
(I don't see why the same street-smart approach wouldn't work in Texas!)

I highly doubt that in the high-end hotel busts you have cited ...that the undercover had a well-thought-out website, reviews and a teaser video!
Let's be real: How many undercovers are gunna have a teaser video?
LE might be able to come up with a website and fabricate reviews ..but to have the undercover in an enticing outfit in a teaser video ...I highly doubt it!

Your approach is not without merit. I’ll even go so far as to say that even here in Texas someone sticking to your plan will have a much reduced risk of an LE encounter.

You are getting a lot of flak because of the hyperbole used in selling your approach, which demonstrates an ignorance of certain factors at play here which are unlikely to exist to the same extent on your home turf.

You live in a blue state. Texas is the reddest of the red states. Even Florida isn’t as red as us. While democrats go along with republicans when new ways to kneecap the hobby are introduced, state and local officials attack it with so much vigor it is hard to imagine it getting any worse. But each year they find imaginative new ways to make it so.

They will never stamp it out completely, but they sure do a good job of paying attention to the market and adapting their tactics as the suppliers change theirs. It would be fascinating to watch if it weren’t impacting us.

Pimps start posting all the details (price, services) in their ads because guys start balking at talking about them on the phone or text? Fine, we will do that, too, and start arresting guys just based on them calling off the ad. Guys staying away from the traditional seedy motels and only seeing ladies in high-priced hotels? Fine, we will start telling them to go to those hotels. We won’t even inconvenience the hotel by setting up the stings threre; we will simply monitor the cameras and bust them when they get off the lot.

When they decided to go after AMPs (you may have heard about our longstanding reputation as the AMP capital of the country everyone used to brag about), the owners went underground by renting apartments and setting up password-protected websites that required screening to access. That worked for several years until LE finally found out where these apartments were and busted virtually every K-Girl operation in the area. I guarantee you they are working on the remainder, waiting for that one mistake that allows them to bring a case against one or more of those that remain.

All of these and so, so much more is happening in a rapidly changing battlefield here in Texas. You have to live here to truly appreciate the effort that is being made to “clean up” at least this part of the state.

So, by all means, offer advice that has served you well in NNJ. It has merit. But if you double down on how it will be 100% effective here, and repeatedly try to sell it in numerous posts like you’re selling us a used car, expect to continue to be dismissed as an ignorant carpetbagger.

Hell-- one of the most infamous places in the DFW metroplex is the Omni in Las Colinas.


Many of your methods are wise and I'm sure its 100% successful in NJ. But Texas is another animal right now. Also-- with the advent of AI-- its not as hard as you think for LE to create not only pictures-- but your "teaser video". If you like-- I can whip one up for you in about 20 minutes.... there are literally ads all over social media for apps that do this.
