Considering she has been sober for damn near five years (something that VAL and SNL may want to consider trying, just based upon the drunken postings) it just shows that they can't really come up with anything else so they go for what they assume would be most hurtful.

Typically I find engaging in a battle of wits with the unarmed to be pretty boring since there is no real challenge in it, but I'm happy to make an exception or three..
