Racism is alive and well in the U.S. The difference today is that it has gone underground.
All I know is that my most conservative friends are the most racist.
I guess Time was wrong, the new America is going to look like Jessica Alba which is not a bad way to look or look at.I agree it's still racism. But the liberal form is more benign because it stems from a lack of experience with people from that race, but it has beneficial and caring intentions.
My experience is the opposite; the most racist people I meet are liberal but theirs is not a "I hate your kind" of racism but the gentle "they really can't make it in the real world without our help."
