In and Out Burger

In and Out works well because of the off-the-menu items, I think.

I wasn't impressed. I got the chance to try one last summer, while I was in San Diego.

I'm happy with my local Whataburger, especially since they know how I like it.

OK they're officially in Texas, open in Frisco yesterday, saw it on the morning news today.
Maybe they have gottn better. Only had I/o 1 time when I was in california. But that was 8 yrs ago
Been to LA Once ...like twenty yeas ago. Me and a friend ate a Astro Burger on Melrose like 5 times.

I thought it was pretty good. And ZAGATS reviews are about a 78 %. Not too bad.

You "member" Astro Burger Nikki.? ...aren't you from West Coast originally?

so what are the of the menu items? had one in California a few years ago- good burger, good fries - everything was hot, fresh and quick
thegj...their off the menu items is on the *secret menu.* I/O has a kind of *cult* following and the secret menu is well known by their followers...but, you can see a link to help you with the secret menu:

I wasn't aware of Astro Burger. I'm going to have to try it on this coming trip.
In N Out is somewhat a "cult" following.. anyone that will stay in line for 30+ minutes on a Friday Night just to get a double double has to be in a "Cult".. been there done that...& always do it when in So Calif. they will do good in Dallas & Houston (if they go there) they must have fresh meat that required a distribution center close to the location. SA would not be a wise choice too many home grown food places here.. burger or not.. Next time in Smell A ( or LA) look up Tommy Original Hamburgers.. if you are darring go to the one on Beverly & Rampart in LA... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knd7RiY4brU I would suggest a day time visit... after dark IS rough... Bring me some extra napkins !!!

Know some folks originally from CA who rave about In N Out.
I will have to try it whenever I get the chance just to see if
it lives up to the hype.

Anyone remember Rally's. Always liked that joint. Burgers were
very decent and the fries were most excellent. Used to have some
located here in S.A. Wish they would return.
Anyone recall the old "Whopper-Burger". My dad took me to the one on San Pedro just south of 410. Loved those greasy burgers.

In & Out will figure something as far as a distribution center is concerned, they can relay the loads from DFW to SA, in the meantime. If they do well here SA could be the distribution point for the valley. Just my .02
