Probably is. Wonder if he knows Eddie Vetter is a nice Jewish boy? Originally Posted by Yssup RiderBased on the multiple comments about large noses, I'm guessing W isn't a big fan of Jews.
They didn't take you in 1974, though, did they? Originally Posted by Yssup RiderNo. I was the last lottery but there was not a draft to go with it. 73 was the last actual draft.
3 months after I moved in with the girl, she dumped me. I had joined the National Guard so I would be a resident and was going back to school. Wait a minute. That was residency for tuition, not for admissions. I was from out of state and wasn't in the top 10% of my class. No school for you! I had quit my job and they had filled it.
Ended up at Ft. Hood, met a girl in Austin, and the rest is history. Originally Posted by Munchmasterman

I completed school early -- what was I thinking -- and got the call! Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

Like you, the entire military experience definately made a man out of me! I would not trade those 4 years for any experience of my lifetime. Even though I considered making a career of the military, hindsight tells me that I made the correct decision!
Still wasn't right in my head. I signed up for jump school and went through physically demanding training in southern Georgia, in July. Went to Ft. Bragg afterwards. The Army truly made a man out of me. Plus it taught me how to get up every day for work. Originally Posted by Munchmasterman
