I spent a good part of my adolescence a shy and timid young man..... In some situations I still am. But in most settings I exude confidence, am known for a very keen sense of humor and tend to look a woman in her eyes while listening to her and encouraging her to talk about herself.

And for me, I don't intend on breaking her heart for freebies as I heard other hobbyists do sometimes, and I seriously doubt she would be interested in me if it was just dinner and flowers.

I wasn't so much making YOU aware of my plans as responding to OP's perhaps rhetorical question whether this happened to anyone where a girl said "hello" and you decide you want her. Coincidentally, it just happened! ...and I have a witness to this that outed himself already in this thread.
