I do believe that managers can play a role, but there is a huge difference between a manager and a pimp. If you pay an agreed percentage of your fee to someone who is helping you, that's a manager. If you give all of your fee to someone who coerces you, 'takes care of you' or gives you an 'allowance', that's a douche bag pimp. There is a special place in hell reserved for the pimps who actually brand their 'property'. In my opinion, of course.

This all started with a crown tattoo. Who marks/brands his ladys with the crown. I am new to this subject and didn't know about this marking of women. This all sounds so damn weird that some one would allow some one to "brand" them just for the fun of it. I had a run in with one ladys pimp and I do know he left marks on her on more than one occasion. I do agree that there is no way to help those that don't want it I tried.

There are marks that heal. There are marks that can be removed. Then there are marks that never go away. I've been in the hobby long enough to learn that no one (pimp, prostitute or john) has a corner on the market for any of these.
