this is one war I don't support much, less get involved directly. this war should be between the rebels and Quaddafi, Nato and the EU should stay out of it. If they wanted to support the rebels, supplying them with weapons is fine if they want to do that. this is a european war for libya's oil resources.

It is simply a matter of doing what is clearly right and and helping to correct what is clearly wrong for fellow human beings.

The people of Libya have suffered for decades under the cruel and corrupt Gaddafi regime and it is only right that the US help the freedom fighters.

You hold your selfish opinion only because you are safely here in the US behind enemy lines, but if you were over there, you would wonder why the world was so callous and slow to help when help was so desperately needed.

The salient thing is, we don't know who those rebels are, and they can very well end up forming an Islamist govt. like Iran. I have read that Iran backed these rebels "quietly".

one needs to be rather wary when things go "bump" in North Africa and Mid-East.
