Meet for a drink? Dinner date or both ?

One of my favorite dates was where I invited a provider over to my hotel room for pizza. We had pizza, wine and a dessert that was out of this world.
My last dinner was someone that I eat with often. He had a bunch of colleagues in town so I brought Oklahoma Joe's to the hotel. That was great

I prefer the McDouble, I've never been in the cult of the McRib.

My favorite restaurant is Julian in Brookside.

I have not been to the Capital Grill yet, but the menu looks fantastic.

Capital Grill just joined KC Restaurant Week. I can't wait.

If you travel, try the one in Denver, too. They're both excellent, but different, including decor--not just another chain.

It is just parts Omahan, just parts.
Julian in Brookside has a great menu, everything on the menu beats the Mcrib and fries. Tastey wine list also! But sometimes it is hard to beat a Mcrib and a bottle of Boones Farm. Gotta love mystery meat and mystery "wine."

I just had a McRib for lunch and I'm feeling a little guilty, but boy was it tasty. My fav place is La Bodega, nothing like tapas and sangria on the patio.
I adore Capital Grill and The Melting Pot.

Scuba......I tried it once, didn't sit well with me. blah

La Bodega is great. For small plates, I also love Extra Virgin. Tapas are a great pre-date date, since you can order a variety of dishes and share them and not get too full. You have to be careful about garlic and other strong flavors -- either both of you have to eat them or neither!
