Escortsite.com is Down!

I received a phone call today stating that escort web design site "escortsite.com" has been removed permanently from the internet. Sure enough, I checked my website and it was offline. I received another call 20 mins later saying that its offline temporary.. but they dont know when it will be up and running again. Just a heads up for anybody that uses their services..

I'm sorry to hear that happened. I know alot of ladies use these sort of services. I always recommend having your site hosted on your own hosting account. For basic sites it's about $4 - 5 per month. PM me if you need help or want to find out more.

Pa. firms behind Escorts.com face federal charges


HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Two Philadelphia-based companies have been charged with running a website used by prostitutes and escort services to advertise, federal prosecutors announced Tuesday.
National A-1 Advertising Inc. and R.S. Duffy Inc. agreed to plead guilty to money laundering conspiracy and will forfeit $4.9 million, pay a $1.5 million fine and serve 1 1/2 years of probation, according to court documents filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Williamsport.
The companies, both of which share the same Philadelphia address, operated Escorts.com beginning in 2007. Prostitutes and escort services paid to advertise on the site, while customers were charged subscription fees.
The companies have forfeited the domain name.
National A-1 also operates phone-sex lines and a pornographic website. Those portions of its business are unaffected by its plea agreement in the escorts.com case, according to court documents.
The government said it reserves the right to prosecute individuals associated with the companies.
National A-1's attorney declined to comment. Duffy's attorney did not immediately return a phone call.
The Associated Press reported this year that a Philadelphia company associated with National A-1, PrimeTel Communications, had gained control over several million toll-free numbers in the U.S. and Canada. The toll-free numbers redirect callers to erotic chat lines operated by National A-1.
Both firms share an office building and common ownership and list many of the same people as executives or business contacts.
The plea agreement filed Tuesday said PrimeTel will not be prosecuted by the federal government.

Escortsite.com is not connected with the now defunct Escorts.com and if I remember right Escortsite is owned and hosted overseas.

Why they are down, well who really knows at this point. I would not get overly excited and just wait and see what develops. There are multiple possibilities most of which are hardware, softward or other technical problems and NOT LE.

That itself is a crime????? Is that true???? I wasn`t a fan of these websites anyway in times of wordpress you can get better for less :-)

Escortsite is back up and running.

P.S. I think I paid $18 to own my name on escortsite.com and it was incredibly easy. Pretty much drop and go. Wordpress is $99 and im not sure its as easy. Wix is a good site as well, and offers lots of starter designs you can customize but it's all flash based. Paying someone else to do it cost upwards of $500 for a semi custom design.

Looks like I need to dust off the old trusty toshiba laptop and photoshop and get to work on a new design! I don't want to be caught in a firestorm if escortsite really is about to go under.

Did anyone get an email stating WHY it went down? I didnt get a call, email, text, smoke signal anything!

Don't panic too much ladies, your website isn't any different than posting an add here, backpage, haveing a P411 or anything like that.. As long as you are smart theres no need take your site down.

Escortsite was probably just doing maintenance or had server problems. They JUST upgraded their interface with a ton more options, chances are it was just a screw up. As long as you're not being sloppy there shouldn't be any reason to worry.

I personally recommend any lady to get a private site, its usually way cheaper than escortsite and you have full control.

I also dont know of any major host site like that not to send a warning email or post when the site is going under for maintenance or a note explaining the glitch.

Dont trust IMO.
