No AA - why not?

If the hobby were legal, it is likely that a provider could be prosecuted for refusing service due to race.

I'm not sure that's true - if you've ever been to a brothel you know how this works. She would just simply see the AA client and hide in her room until someone else hustled him.

That being said - I don't see it as "government rape" if you have to provide service to everyone. If you don't want to sleep with any and everything that walks through the door, then the job wouldn't be for you in that scenario and you'd probably quit the day it went "legal" - as you'd have notice, and time to find another job. If not, you'd be making a choice to sleep with any and everything, and therefore no one would be raping anyone.

I said every business has the right to refuse service to anyone. I didn't say why they would refuse the service did I? No.

You are wrong, it is as simple as that! Every business does not have the right to refuse service. Not for race, or many other reasons.

But then, you are too young to remember the "food counter" incidents of the 60's. This is written into law, and many businesses have been prosecuted for refusing service. You meant your business; and the point I made is that you are an illegal business; so, when it comes prosecution: the first charge would be for prostitution and the DA would probably ignore the civil rights charges and the charges for practicing law without a license; which it sounds like when you give the statement "... Just because you get away with an act, doesn't mean you have the right to act that way. You can do what you want, I don't care. Actually JR, the question generally turns on whether the business's refusal of service of a protected class was arbitrary, or whether the business had a specific interest in refusing service. You are correct in stating that just because you CAN get away with something, that certainly doesn't make it right - but in reality, we all know it happens everyday.

My issue is more the fact that some of the girls dont want the discussion. It is going to continue to come up until something changes one way or another.

I was assuming that it was any (every) business in my reply when I mentioned that it was the intent of the refusal that was really the factor in litigation (or ethically declining service) . . . maybe this is a subject better suited for another thread - maybe sometime in the sandbox, especially, as it really is going off topic here in this thread.

The answer to your question Equation, the demand of this hobby is driven by white males. If you examine the ratio of white men to black men in this activity, you will discover that AA make up a minuscule percentage if clients. Add to the fact that black men are perceived in a very negative light by society as a whole, a lot of providers are afraid to see them. Think about it, if it doesn't affect their pocket books (or their pimps money), why risk seeing someone that your fearful of.

The other reason, is that for some ladies, their representation determine who they will or will not see. Also, you have to respect individual preferences. If a girl does not want to see a client because of race, cool, just move on.

The fact of the matter is that there are not enough AA clients in this hobby to really push demand, so the "why" doesn't really matter.

1. Race relations are important, and the proper treatment of race is demanded by the Feds.

2. The girls can agree, or disagree with the Feds., it doesn't matter what they think about it. Because they are a small group and an illegal business: they will be able to do what they want.

3. However, justifying the action by making the parallel comparison to every other business is just wrong. Do what you want, but the argument is nonsense. 4. All of the things about the size of the business (small, 15 people, type of endevor, etc.) doesn't relate to the discussion: if, a company has any business with the Feds., and through the states for related type contracts.

For example, if you are one person with leased secretarial services; and you have a contract with most governmental agencies (all that I know of) you still have to have the same paperwork as the big companies concerning equal rights, civil rights, etc.
