There was probably a provision in the purchase agreement that GE would not terminate any on-air "talent". (And I use that last word cautiously.)

After watching pre-game shows/football for 7+ hours on Sun., the only reason I watch that show is for Olbermann and Patrick's old school, SportsCenter-esque commentary.
