Thoughts on Reviews

I hear there is a rather recent review of me. I don't care to read it. Originally Posted by Lovely Victoria

Damn, I need to get laid lol
So it's not that I don't care for lots of back and forth e-mails, it's that I need to get a sense that the gentleman is sincere and is genuinely interested in a in-flesh (or on-flesh) meeting. If my intuition tells me that he is, I love seeing his name in my inbox. Originally Posted by Lovely Victoria

I will throw in my .02 input, first I am no longer writing reviews as I'm fully UTR in the review aspect of the hobby. When I did write them I strived to write them in a fashion that relayed what I term reasonable expectations, by reasonable expectations I mean what would PJ or Rudyard expect if they also so chose to see the lady.

I modified the format to list the important stuff like the standard GFE menu, I also tried to give some information as to the appointment arrangements and the settings where the appointment took place as these are valuable information to many.

Reviews have taken a turn of late to either a chest thumping or moaning and griping that the reviewer didn't get all he expected for the lowest price he could find.

But as WTF said many posts earlier, ECCIE exists because of reviews, reviews should be written as road maps for other hobbyists, not for self promotion or promotion of one's current ATF.

Good topic Mr. JB.

Indifferent about them. As an earlier poster said necessary evil.... at least half who do them don't know how to to them right.

I don't mind reviews as they are what proves you do what you say you will, for the price stated, and on a CONSISTENT basis. Word of mouth only goes so far, and that's if you only want to see those within a certain circle. I see very few local clients so that would never work for me, but my reviews allow other areas to see that I don't just slack here and deliver there.

I don't find that after 20 they need be explicit down to the color of her insides though lol. A tasteful review that gets the point across is all that is needed to attract most men, but others want to know every minor, insignificant detail even if they never plan to see you.

That is why I have so few reviews on boards where back and forth banter is encouraged...I prefer the review stand alone, and questions asked via pm or not at all.

If a guy leaves out certain things it might be because it's really of no concern to anyone else. I can't stand when I get a review and they stalk the guy asking all sorts of questions after the fact. If he did not write it in the review, odds are it's because we don't want the entire affair made public!

Oh yea right...forgot about that lol. I think all reviews should start with, "In my fantasy," or "In my dream." That way, we could really get into the whole fictional disclaimer bs that are absolutely useless in a court of law these days.

. I rather the gentleman sends me a naughty note reminiscing all the acronym-y things we did together and more acronym-y things he'd like to do the next time we are togehter, rather than post them for the world to see.
