But seriously...and I mean this...that's one thing we are somewhat in agreement on. I see SOME merit in more verifiable reviews so I didn't offer much in that thread.

At the end of the day, the best protection is proper screening...even if its over the top. Being safe is the concern. I don't know why more providers don't say "ok first meeting lets have coffee at this restaurant". Not fail safe, but damn sure better than opening the door to Chester the Molester...

If you send me two and they both respond, great! (normally I can just check your written reviews and not even require you to send them) Now if only one responds I will ask for another or look for another you reviewed... Newbies go threw a lot more... Those who do not want to send references because they don't like to kiss and tell can also submit my own private screening but I assure you, a lot more private information is required... Those who do not like my screening have the choice to not submit it and move on, those who are fine with it can come by...
