Hi Adrienne. I have posted no AA or BBW in ISO. The reason was I wasn't looking for an AA or BBW provider. Why the no AA or BBW reference? I did a random search of the last few days of ISO

I'm going to assume you understand the history of slavery and that it was endemic to every period of history until the 1800s. Slaves whatever the color have always been held at the mercy (sexual and otherwise) of their owners. The only reason it's germane here is the relatively recent history of slavery in the Americas compared to Egyptian or Roman slavery which was actually as barbaric if not more than what existed on your average slave holding plantation in the antebellum South.

How does being overly sexualized result in lower wages? The only logical way that would work is if you were thought to be so horny you'd work for half the price... ie see male porn stars wages. The fact of the matter is I think you are just dealing with demographics.... If you just straight line the numbers, AA providers and hobbiyists will make a far smaller percentage of the total than will whites.

A disparity in wages is in large part explained by those numbers. I don't deny that there are many whites that won't see an AA provider due to ignorance or that's just not the ideal formed in their heads when they hit puberty. For me, I went to a predominantly Mexican school in SoCal. All the hottest and most popular girls were Mexican American. I've always dated latinas and except fate intervened I probably would have married a latina. But I've never thought the blonde blue eyed thing was the height of beauty either... I can say I've never once dated a blonde girl... not that there aren't some attractive ones, it just never floated my boat.

And even having a preference for AA women doesn't mean I'm going to be attracted to all AA women. Most guys are not attracted to 'Weazy" Jefferson, they are to Lupita Nyong'o or Rihanna....hot is hot... the skin color is the least part of that...

I at first supported the notion of an AA forum, not withstanding the "safe space" nonsense, but the more I've thought about it, it's a way to ghettoize a minority... shove them off into the AA forum where nobody has to see them unless they want to. I don't think we need more segregation and separation, I think we need more interracial interaction rather than less. Would not providers want more customers of all colors? Would not AA hobbyists want to visit all providers without restriction? Is that going to be furthered by a separate forum? I think not....I could be wrong, I admit that, but it doesn't make logical sense.

Having been the member of a number of privately funded ECCIE forums, you can take this to the bank: the existence of the one the OP is proposing isn't going to change the race dynamic one way or another on this board. You folks can stop overreacting now.
