I read that article and it sounded like the guys were actually promoting: ie they were working with the agencies or studios and they had smoking guns that they were doing so for some kind of gain. Not just regular dudes writing reviews. Originally Posted by beeman1000

I was told by some girls talking about past raids was they would raid early in the morning before they opened and while they were probably asleep. That way they catch everyone off guard and cash etc is still in the place. More importantly, before they opened so that no political figure types would be caught up in the raid. Things may have changed since the new felony charges. When we're these raids done?

Seems kind of hard to imagine that they leave the evening's take in an empty apartment. As to the time of day, I have no idea about that, but the first part of what you said doesn't make any sense based on what I've been told about the living arrangement the girls have.
Some of the girls definitely do sleep in those rooms. That said, I see no sense in raiding when there's no illegal activity going on.

One of my friends has a nice 2 bedroom apartment in Las Colonias where she stays when she is not working. She roommates with another girl.
Girls definitely still stay in the spa. I think it was more prevalent when spas were closer to 24 hours but they still do. And Beeman, they have already documented their illegal activities and aren't usually looking for more.

Blue (I think it was) they found an absurd amount of condoms (like 20k?), loads of cash, "sex trafficked" girls, lube, etc. I want to say the raid was early morning like 7am. Maybe I'm reading into the time. Maybe it was to not disrupt the normal flow of business in the area? The person who told about the raids also told me when and at least her version of why.
What if I gave my information but I never made contact after that. I never asked for a meet up or anything text wise. Just kinda left them on delivered and stuck to my Usual go to’s outside of the studio/amp world.

Just look what happened to Robert Craft. I'm not a lawyer, but I still don't understand how they can charge someone for a video in a place where you have an expectation of privacy(that is a legal statue) and yes they had a warrant, but since he was NOT listed on the warrant, by law the police where require to stop watching it and stop recording it. I knew when the story came out it wouldn't go anywhere, but that didn't stop every news outlet form talking about it. Even if the girl knew about the recording Florida is a two party state meaning both of them would need to consent for it to be admissible. That is ultimately why the Judge ordered the video destroyed. Unfortunately, here in Texas we are a one party state :-(

Speaking of Blue, I really liked Kara
The video was destroyed because it was the legal equivalent of filming someone in the bathroom. Police can't film you where you have a reasonable expectation of privacy. It's illegal.

Back to the studio arrests that the OP reported…How would that work? They raid an apartment with maybe two girls in it? Doing what? By the time they answer the door, everyone is decent. Or did they serve a warrant at the home of the owner(s)? I understand how a spa can be raided, but a studio? It’s definitely true that the hobby community seems spooked. I had a studio cancellation Friday with no notice and no reason given. But what actually happened? Just wondering what to be worried about, not doubting the report.
If i had to guess: the owners got arrested. The girls just scattered and some will pop up in other studios. most probably left town though
