Anyone watch HBO True Detective?

I'm getting into now but at first I was like ,,,, ok see what happens next

Finally watched the season finale. Had to watch it twice. No I didn't like the way it ended but DAMMIT the dialogue in this show is fucking phenomenal and I like how all the whodunit part of the storyline wrapped up with the brother and sister.

So ya the end was really disappointing as far as fairy tale endings go, but what else would you expect from this show? I love the writing and the acting too much not to keep watching it even if I know it's gonna kick me in cooter in the end.

very hard to follow this season, didn't really enjoy it as much. struggle to make it through to the end. I was confused as well and was going to watch it again, but figured why bother.

They should have just ended it like sensible people. A three way lesbian orgy between the cop chick, the gangsta chick, and the pregnant chick. The scarred chick could have made a cameo as well wearing a leather BDSM outfit and sporting a whip. Oh well, to each his own.

First season was the shit, I couldn't follow this season but I watched it all. Going to be interesting to see who the next seasons characters are.

Yeah, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with this season compared to the first one. I'm a Vince Vaughn fan too. Who do you all think would make some good candidates for next season? I'm thinking Clive Owen and/or Michael Fassbender would be able to portray some interesting characters.

Be sweet to see either Jesse pinkman or Heisenberg

I couldn't connect with this season. Good acting but a disjointed script. Bummer.

Just don't put Mel Gibson and Danny Glover on it...
