Question about provider demographics.

One of the reasons why I think there are so many providers in Texas is...
Theres not much else to do in Texas.......unless you like to shop at the malls...
Which leads back to why there are so many providers in Texas

Here is what Jeff Foxworthy has to say about folks from Texas ...

If someone in a Lowe's store offers you assistance and they don't work there, you may live in Texas ;

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you may live in Texas ;

If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed a wrong number, you may live in Texas ;

If 'Vacation' means going anywhere south of Dallas for the weekend, you may live in Texas ;

If you measure distance in hours, you may live in Texas ;

If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you may live in Texas ;
If you install security lights on your house and garage, but leave both unlocked, you may live in Texas ;

If you carry jumper cables in your car and your wife knows how to use them, you may live in Texas

If the speed limit on the highway is 55 mph --you're going 80 and everybody's passing you, you may live in Texas ;

If you find 60 degrees 'a little chilly,' you may live in Texas ;

If you actually understand these jokes, and share them with all your Texas friends, you definitely live in Texas ..

Niccolette, that was a GREAT post on the trivia, but one little thing. It is well over 1,000 miles from Beaumont to Chicago.

I don't have a problem with anything else. I hate to be an "actually" person, but being 300 miles off is a pretty big oops.

I am sure you copied that from an email or something so I don't blame you.

No. I mean there's a thread elsewhere on Eccie wherein a hobbyist posts pictures of a local girl he had seen and was crushing on, and found out she was a post-op transsexual. Schadenfreud isn't a very nice emotion, but the thread is very amusing. As is this one. Originally Posted by EmilyHemingway

I had read this yesterday but am replying to you now. I often wonder the same thing and I believe it has to do with what works for each individual lady. Being from Pittsburgh and in the business long enough, I have found what works for me. One thing I have learned about rates and it seems to stand true anywhere, never lower your rates with intent to raise them back later. I feel that it is to risky to chance losing those you gained in that exchange. Although, if you are looking for less clientele I believe raising one's rates would be appropriate and something I feel all ladies have thought of and/or have planned for.

After reading this back to myself, I feel I may sound like I am rambling. Enjoy! Originally Posted by Dawn Bristow
