Why A Yes Vote For The Iran Nuclear Deal Is A No-Brainer

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...64b_story.html

Excerpts:
A group of nearly 200 retired generals and admirals sent a letter to Congress on Wednesday urging lawmakers to reject the Iran nuclear agreement, which they say threatens national security.
....
Many of the signatories served in the White House, under Democratic administrations as well as Republican. The only thing they appear to have in common is that they consider the Iran nuclear deal a threat to U.S. interests in the region and its own national security.

We have had assurances from the Iranians before and they've been meaningless. Its not our scientist's opinion we should be concerned about but the former Soviet Union scientists who are helping them.

Anybody who has read the tea leafs knew Iraq's PM cut a deal with Iran to run us out of Iraq with that agreement Bush signed.

We now need to actually work with Iran to try and stabilize the region. Of course those that profit from war are not happy about any stability in the region...especially Israel, they see it as the USA not having to depend on them.

Ronald Reagan would have approved this deal!

It appears that it is good enough for 27 democratic senators. If 7 more join them, that will be enough to block a veto override attempt by the republicans.

The USA lifts its economic sanctions, Iran will get access to their money, about 150 billion dollars.

Iran will get rid of 90% of their Uranium ( isotope U-235) the radioactive one used in what scientists call nuclear fission. There is a way for the Uranium to be counted so that it can verified that Iran got rid of the Uranium.

This will push out by 15 years Iran's ability to make a NUCLEAR WEAPON.

Declared sites of nuclear activity are to be monitored 24/7 from day one. Any new suspicious site can be inspected after a request is put in, approx. 24+ days.

All of the other countries involved have agreed to the deal and they are going forward with or without the USA. They will lift their sanctions and begin trading with Iran.

There is no going back for another deal.
